<p>Kentucky Spleenwort is a sterile triploid hybrid formed by random crossing of the diploid Ebony Spleenwort (<a href="http://floraofalabama.org/Plant.aspx?id=63"><em><strong>Asplenium platyneuron</strong></em></a>) and the tetraploid Lobed Spleenwort (<a href="http://floraofalabama.org/Plant.aspx?id=62"><em><strong>Asplenium pinnatifidum</strong></em></a>). </p>
