One of two Uvularia species with perfoliate leaves--the other being U. perfoliata. Uvularia grandiflora has smooth tepals inside the flower and slightly pubescent leaf undersides while U. perfoliata has roughened tepals on the inside of the flower and glabrous leaf undersides.
